Get a FREE mini-course on Everything You Need to Know Before Buying Shears

This 9 part mini-course is free with subscription to our newsletter and is exclusive only to this website.  You won't find this offer anywhere else.  In this mini-course you will learn -

* How to choose the best shears for you
  • How shears are made and how it effects their quality
  • What they are made of that helps prevent rusting and keeps them sharper longer
  • What type of handle would be the most comfortable for you, based on how you cut
  • What type of edge is best suited to the type of hair you usually cut

* How often you should sharpen your shears to keep them cutting their best

* How to correctly adjust your shears to get the best performance from them

* The parts of your shears (which words to use so that your shear salesman and sharpener know what you are talking about)

* Why bother to purchase quality shears anyway?  How does it benefit you?

There are so many things to consider before purchasing your haircutting shears that it can be a little confusing.  You don't want to go out and just buy any pair just because the salesman thinks that that's the right pair for you.  Just because they're expensive, that doesn't mean a particular pair of shears would be the best for you.  How do you know then which shears would be best for you?  Sign up for our free mini-course and find out how.

"I have never owned a very expensive pair of scissors, I became a cosmetologist in the early ninety's and had no clue how expensive scissors could be, and I remember going to a designer class and watching the instructor do a haircut and how clean and sharp her edges were and then I found out she had a six hundred dollar pair of scissors. I was surprised to know they even made them that expensive.

Anyways , I have been out of hairdressing for almost sixteen years now for various reasons and I really love it and have decided to go back to school after all these years and I really want to own a nice pair of scissors but haven't a clue about what kind to purchase, so now I know about tempered and and rockwell which will help me to be able to at least start somewhere.

Thanks for your information, it was very good. I'm looking foward to learning more as I am taking my new career very seriously and I want to use the best tools that will work the best for myself and my clients."
